About
Dr.Julius Chief Ekeroma

As founder of Dr. Julius Ekeroma and Associates, and Symlytic.ai, he brings over 25 years of Fortune 500 consulting experience to organizations including Microsoft, Amazon, Chevron, Shell, Bank of America, and Walmart.

His work spans finance, government, healthcare, technology, supply chain and retail industries where Pacific Islander perspectives have been largely absent from leadership conversations.

Making the Invisible Pacific Visible

Keynote speaker Dr.Julius Ekeroma

Born and raised in American Samoa, Dr. Ekeroma left the islands after high school with a single purpose—to put his people on the map—to make the "Invisible Pacific" visible. For decades, Pacific Islanders have been statistically erased in corporate data, buried within broader categories that obscure their distinct identity and challenges.

In 1996, he founded the Pacific Islander Student Alliance (PISA) at the University of Washington—the first organization of its kind—because there were simply no platforms for Pacific voices in academic, governmental, or corporate spaces. Today, PISA has grown to over 5,000 members and remains a thriving testament to that founding vision.

Dr. Ekeroma now challenges this erasure at scale. He leads critical conversations in DEI, ERG leadership, and executive inclusion while conducting groundbreaking research. He is currently spearheading the Pacific Islander Benchmark 2025— the first comprehensive study of its kind globally, examining Pacific Islander representation across Fortune 500 companies.

His vision extends beyond corporate America—he aims for this benchmark to be adopted worldwide, addressing Pacific Islander invisibility not only in the United States but in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Canada, where similar patterns of statistical erasure persist.

ai data consultant
Through Symlytic.ai—which stands for "Simple Analytics"—Dr. Ekeroma cuts through the noise of corporate data to reveal actionable truth. While most consultants stop at dashboards and reports, he goes further—translating the data results into next actionable steps leaders must take. His approach transforms analytics from retrospective measurement into forward-looking strategy, equipping organizations to make decisions that are not only smarter and faster and impactful.

From boardrooms to global conferences, Dr. Ekeroma helps corporations audit, measure, and strengthen their diversity practices with frameworks that deliver measurable impact. Through research, consulting, and keynote speaking, he advances a future where Pacific Islander leadership shapes boardrooms, data decisions, and global conversations—where data and culture move together, and where Pacific Islander voices are finally seen, valued, and finally visible.
